Module #18
Most of us are familiar with triggers. We have experienced moments when a scene, smell, or place stirs a strong reaction within us. In this module, we will explore what triggers are and how to use them constructively, rather than letting them overwhelm us or pull us into chaos.
Module #19
Dissociation is a common coping tool for survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Many of us relied on it because it offered brief comfort, and over time, it became familiar. However, dissociation can also disconnect us from our truth.
Module #20
This module explores the flashbacks many survivors of childhood crimes experience. We may not realize we are having a flashback, but it is a vivid, detailed memory that returns involuntarily from the past. We conclude the module by inviting Jesus into a flashback and walking with Him toward healing.
